Homage to the Czech beer – homage to the tradition

It is an amazing observation that a country with such a phenomenal tradition of beer culture yielded to the marketing techniques of beer multinationals so easily and the tours for closer contacts with the quality in beer enjoyment did not receive a wider acceptance abroad. At present there are in Bohemia and Moravia numerous booming restaurants with own breweries, attended mainly by the locals.

We think that it is then our mission, as the representatives of Czech consumers of beer and themselves the aficionados of traditional breweries, to make it good also for others. We are not alone, there is an international call for reinstalling good practices in beer culture – British CAMRA leads the way and there is the support of the European Union of Beer Consumers.
This project has been launched on 15.7.2009 as the first one in this country. Please be aware that original can be only one, what we all as beer drinkers know very well.
Since this is a pilot project that depends on the feedback from our visitors and friends, we will adjust our offer to the demand and widen gradually its scope for choice. We would like to introduce you to most varied places of interest and persuade you that beer is a life-style that is worth enjoying.
